MONTEGO 800 Wall

HOUSING
Cylindrical post top luminaire consists of roof, shade, and external louvers with matching profiles. Four stainless steel upper support rods separate the heavyduty cast aluminum roof and spun aluminum shade, forming an aperture at the top of the luminaire. Machined lower rods support the shade and retain three spun aluminum external louvers midway along its length. Shade and louvers shall be free from burrs and sharp edges. Heavy-duty cast aluminum base with integral slip fitter anchors the support rods, and is machined to include groove for gasketing and mounting surface for the lens and ballast enclosure. Roof and base are gasketed to provide a weather-tight seal to the clear acrylic cylindrical lens. Luminaire slip fits 3" O.D. tenon, and has built-in stop to limit insertion depth to 2.8". Two offset rows of three 10mm recessed setscrews secure the luminaire to the pole. All hardware is stainless steel.

OPTICS
LED module is an enclosed system with vertically oriented LED arrays mounted within a cylindrical clear acrylic lens. Light shaping diffusing film on the inside of the lens controls and shapes light distribution for optimal performance while reducing glare from the individual LEDs. Thermal management is provided via heat sinking and convective cooling within the sealed system.

ELECTRICAL
Electrical components are mounted in a white conical enclosure at the base of the luminaire. Two electronic LED drivers supply 700mA drive current to two linear LED circuit boards, respectively. Each driver has a universal input voltage range from 120v to 277v at 50/60Hz. Drivers are high power factor with performance greater than 90%. Power consumption is 24 watts for Montego 660W and 36 watts for Montego 800W. Optional 0-10v dimming available on request.

MOUNTING
Fabricated steel bracket assembly mounts over junction box and is secured to the wall in four places. Two parallel square tubes with 3" O.D. tenon are welded to the 0.24" thick mounting plate. Mounting bracket is hot-dip galvanized with coating inside and out, then lightly sanded prior to painting. Bracket assembly ships pre-wired with fish tape.

FINISH
Housing is cleaned ultrasonically prior to painting. Standard finishes are finely textured matte silver grey metallic, dark grey, graphite grey, matte black, or dark bronze. Special colors available on request.
