NOVARA SAL 450 LVC
HOUSING
Wedge-shaped housing is cast from high-grade aluminum alloy with integrated cooling fins to enhance heat dissipation. Segregated ballast compartment with separate cast aluminum cover is thermally isolated from the optical system, ensuring optimal operating environment for electrical components. Frameless tempered glass lens is sealed with closed cell silicone gasketing when closed. Hinged lens is retained by two quarter turn fasteners for tool-less access. Braided stainless steel line houses weatherproof electrical cord, terminating in watertight couplings at both ends. Housing is adjustable to 0°, 10°, 20°, 30°, or 40° above horizontal by means of two precision machined polished stainless steel knobs and locked into place with two regressed locking bolts. Hot-dip galvanized steel mounting bracket with integral slip fitter for 2 3/8'' O.D. tenon has two offset rows of three stainless steel setscrews to secure and level luminaire to the pole.

OPTICS
Optics includes one LED module. The module consists of a field replaceable aluminum core PCB with four high-power LEDs and a single piece lens molded from optical quality acrylic. Light distributions include a choice of Type II, III, or IV optics. Luminaire emits zero uplight at 90 degrees horizontal and above and is suitable for use in all LEED lighting zones. CRI is 80+.

ELECTRICAL
Electronic LED driver supplies 700mA drive current to LED modules with input voltage range from 120v through 277v at 50/60Hz. Power consumption is 36 watts for models with one module, 72 watts for models with two modules, or 108 watts for models with three modules. Optional 0-10v DC dimming is available on request.

POLE
Straight round steel pole is manufactured from cold drawn over mandrel, electric-weld, mechanical round steel tubing with nominal wall thickness of 0.177''. Flush mounted hand hole cover is plasma cut with kerf not to exceed 1/8'' and includes triangular tamper-resistant locking device. Tenon is machined and inserted into the pole shaft then plug welded, showing no visible weld at the transition. Shaft is hot-dip galvanized with coating inside and out, then lightly sanded prior to painting. Base cover is one-piece 0.080'' spun aluminum and finished to match the pole. Pole is 20' overall nominal height.

FINISH
Standard finishes are finely textured matte silver grey metallic, dark grey, graphite grey, matte black, or dark bronze. Special colors available on request.

WARRANTY
Limited product warranty period including LEDs is five years. Driver shall carry the manufacturer's limited warranty.
