AVALON 800 LED
HOUSING
Cylindrical pendant mounted luminaire consists of roof, shade, and external louvers with matching profiles. Four stainless steel upper support rods separate the heavy-duty cast aluminum roof and spun aluminum shade, forming an aperture at the top of the luminaire. Machined lower rods support the shade and retain three spun aluminum external louvers midway along its length. Shade and louvers shall be free from burrs and sharp edges. Lower support rods terminate in two aluminum lens rings, machined to include groove for gasketing and mounting surface for the cylindrical and bottom acrylic lenses. Roof and lens rings are gasketed to provide a weather-tight seal to the clear acrylic cylindrical lens. Luminaire mounts to bracket with threaded brass nipple and is locked in place with recessed setscrews on the bracket and luminaire roof. All hardware is stainless steel.

OPTICS
LED light engine consists of a vertically oriented optical quality acrylic rod capped with a reflective element to redirect light outward. The acrylic rod channels light from the single CoB LED and redirects it outward to provide effective horizontal and vertical illumination. Light shaping diffusing film on the inside of the main luminaire lens controls and shapes light distribution for optimal performance while minimizing brightness. Thermal management is provided via heat sinking and convective cooling within the sealed system.

ELECTRICAL
Electrical components are mounted in a white conical enclosure at the base of the luminaire. Electronic LED driver supplies 700mA drive current to the LED. The driver has a universal input voltage range from 120v to 277v at 50/60Hz. Driver is high power factor with performance greater than 90%. Power consumption is 24 watts. Optional 0-10v dimming available on request.

POLE
Stepped steel pole is manufactured from cold drawn over mandrel, electric-weld, mechanical round steel tubing with nominal wall thickness of 0.142". Pole shall show no seam along shaft. Flush mounted handhole cover is plasma cut with kerf not to exceed 1 /8" and includes triangular tamper-resistant locking device. Pole is hot-dip galvanized with coating inside and out, then lightly sanded for bonding of paint. Base cover is one-piece 0.080" spun aluminum and finished to match the pole. Nominal pole height is 16'.

Fabricated steel bracket assembly is available in single or twin configurations. Upper shaft of the bracket assembly is sized to match the upper pole shaft, and is welded to the top of the sli pfitter. Slip fitter insertion depth is 7.87". Slip fitter has two rows of four 8mm stainless steel setscrews to secure bracket to the pole. Steel rod with sleeving is welded to the top of the bracket assembly and serves as a wire way to supply power to the luminaire. Sleeving has radiussed inside edges to prevent damage to wiring. Steel rod terminates in fabricated steel luminaire attachment point. Two horizontal angled steel bars are welded to the attachment point and slip fitter. Bracket is hot-dip galvanized with coating inside and out, then lightly sanded prior to painting. Bracket assembly ships prewired with fish tape.

Single and twin 24" banner arm assemblies available upon request. Banner arm assemblies consist of upper fixed arm and lower breakaway arm for high-wind conditions. Stainless steel lanyard inside lower arm safely retains the arm in event of breakaway.

FINISH
Housing is cleaned ultrasonically prior to painting. Standard PRIMAR® finishes are finely textured matte silver grey metallic, dark grey, graphite grey, matte black, or dark bronze. Special RAL colors available on request.

Limited product warranty period including LEDs is five years. Driver shall carry the manufacturer's limited warranty.
