TOLEDO UTILITY

The TOLEDO utility bollard is available in two sizes to deliver appropriately scaled solutions for locating electrical or water supply points in exterior landscapes. The domed top is cast aluminum and fastened to the hot-dip galvanized shaft with concealed hardware prior to being finished in finely textured paint. Access doors are flush to the bollard shaft and secured with lock and key to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized entry.

Power bollard features an integral chute for cables to allow closed door operation while in use. Electrical chassis is provided for installation of electrical components. Electrical design, components, and installation are by others per applicable codes.

Water bollard is designed for open door operation with plumbing and fittings supplied by others. Bollards mount to factory supplied galvanized steel soil insert embedded into a concrete foundation, by others. Companion lighting products include pole and wall mounted luminaires as well as an illuminated bollard in the Montego product family.

Standard colors are dark grey, graphite grey, silver grey, black, or dark bronze. Special colors available. All hardware is stainless steel.

HOUSING
POWER BOLLARD
Power bollard consists of exterior enclosure, internal chassis plate, and soil insert for embedment into concrete foundation.

Power bollard enclosure is fabricated from hot-dip galvanized tubing. Top cap is machined from billet aluminum and fastened to the body with concealed hardware to provide a one-piece appearance. Two access doors are flush to the surface and include lock and key to prevent unauthorized entry. Lower door provides access for electrical connections. Upper door with integral cable chute allows access to electrical chassis plate. Electrical chassis plate is hot-dip galvanized steel and is secured to the enclosure with six stainless steel socket head cap screws.

Power bollard enclosure mounts to fabricated steel soil insert for embedment into concrete foundation. Soil insert is hot-dip galvanized for long term corrosion protection. All hardware is stainless steel.

FINISH
Housing is cleaned ultrasonically prior to painting. Standard finishes are finely textured matte silver grey metallic, dark grey, graphite grey, matte black, or dark bronze. Special RAL colors available on request. Hess standard textured finishes feature proprietary PRIMAR® protective coating for long-term corrosion and UV protection.
