The translucent matte acrylic lens diffuses light uniformly along its length through direct and indirect reflector elements. The extruded aluminum body features a diagonal transition to the lens. All hardware is stainless steel.

SIERRA 42 Bollard

HOUSING
Cylindrical base with bias cut at top of shaft is constructed from 0.157'' nominal wall, 6061-T6 aluminum tubing. Cylindrical lens is impact-resistant matte acrylic. LEDs and driver are mounted in the shaft at the bottom of the lens. Lens assembly is secured with stainless steel socket head cap screws inside the base. Fabricated aluminum top cap houses the diffuse aluminum reflector plate and is gasketed to create a weather-tight seal to the lens. Top cap mounts to the lens with two recessed setscrews. All hardware is stainless steel.

OPTICS
White: Single chip-on-board (CoB) with reflective optics projects light upward to evenly illuminate the cylindrical matte acrylic lens. Top mounted reflector element contributes to the uniformity of illumination at the top of the lens.

RGB: Four RGBW arrays consisting of red, green, blue, and white high brightness LEDs with aluminum core circuit board are mounted at the base of the lens. The LED chips are fitted with high-efficiency spot distribution lenses, projecting light upward to the specular reflector located in the top cap to provide even, diffused illumination along the length of the lens without striations. Cylindrical lens is impact-resistant, non-yellowing, matte acrylic. Lens shall have excellent diffusion properties to produce homogenous, uniform horizontal and vertical illumination. The textured lens surface is fingerprint and scratch resistant for enhanced service life.

ELECTRICAL
Universal LED driver is mounted in a weather-proof enclosure at the base of the column. Input voltage to universal driver is 120v through 277v AC, 50/60 Hz. Maximum power consumption is 15 watts. LED driver supplies 450mA to LEDs.

MOUNTING
Internal mounting cup mounts to four 1/2" x 15" x 3" hot-dip galvanized anchor bolts embedded in a concrete foundation provided by others. Bollard installs onto mounting cup and is secured with recessed stainless steel setscrews, providing a flangeless appearance. Mounting cup allows horizontal orientation of the bollard independent of the installed bolt pattern. Bollard with external flage includes a Mounting kit with 4x  0.5" x 15" x 3" anchor bolts and a hot-dip galvanized steel mounting plate.

FINISH
Standard finishes are finely textured matte silver grey metallic, dark grey, graphite grey, matte black, or dark bronze. Special colors available on request.

CSA/US Certified for Wet Locations

WARRANTY
Limited product warranty period including LEDs is five years. Driver shall carry the manufacturer's limited warranty.
