SEDI Q

The unique styling of Sedi Q recessed wall luminaire features a stepped cast aluminum faceplate to transform any wall into a functional 3-dimensional element. Featuring optics with a concealed diffuse acrylic lens, the recessed luminaire produces soft, low-brightness illumination without glare. The robust cast aluminum housing seamlessly integrates into a formed stainless steel backbox and allows for easy interconnected wiring. The backbox may be pre-shipped in advance. All hardware is stainless steel. Standard Primar finishes are matte silver grey metallic, graphite grey, dark grey, black, or dark bronze. Custom RAL colors are also available upon request. Luminaire is suitable for installation in exterior, interior, and poured concrete walls.

HOUSING
The cast aluminum faceplate measures 6.6” w x 6.6” h and is secured to the cast aluminum housing with four captive bolts. Silicone gasketing provides a weather-tight seal to the housing when closed. The luminaire housing with a depth of 3.9” installs into a stainless steel recessed backbox with two threaded rods and fasteners for positive retention within the backbox. Faceplate is flush to the wall with minimal projection when installed. Overall depth of the recessed backbox is 4”. The luminaire and recessed backbox are ordered separately. Optional mounting kit for mounting the luminaire within interior walls with 2x4 wood or metal construction in lieu of the recessed back box. Luminaire is IP65 rated and ADA compliant.

OPTICS
Optics consist of the LED light engine with metal core PCB positioned above a horizontal matte acrylic lens. Light is directed downwards through the diffused lens onto the stepped detailing of the faceplate. Outer sides of the stepped geometry are angled inwards to project light to the opposite lateral side of the luminaire for increased fill close to the wall between luminaires while parallel stepped geometry on the faceplate projects light outward from the luminaire. CRI is 80 with standard CCTs of 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, or 4000K. True amber LEDs (between 590 to 595 nm) are also available.

ELECTRICAL
Standard output model consumes 8.4 watts. High output model consumes 16.8 watts. Both models feature dimming capability for 0-10v, TRIAC, or ELV protocols as standard. Dimming wires may be terminated if on/off operation only is desired. An optional inline 20KVA rated surge suppressor for installation in the rough-in box is available on request.

WARRANTY
Limited product warranty period including LEDs is five years. Driver shall carry the manufacturer's limited warranty.
