HessAmerica Showcases Design and Luminaire Technology at AIA National Convention And Design Exposition
Products include the SERA and MILLENNIO
HessAmerica showcased the latest in luminaire design and technology at the AIA National Convention and Design Exposition in Las Vegas May 19-21. New advancements included the industry»s first LED pole mounted luminaire and a new pole mounted luminaire based on light beam splitting technology. Developed in Germany, these products give architects and lighting designers in the U.S. creative, previously unavailable, alternatives to lighting.
"Hess concentrates on providing excellence in design, quality and new technology," Terry O'Toole, general manager of HessAmerica, said. «At the AIA Convention and Design Expo, we showcased exactly what that means to the client.»
Products featured at the AIA Expo included:
- SERA, a new product line for street and community lighting.
- MILLENNIO, the industry»s first LED pole mounted luminaire.
- RESIDENZA, a decorative new line of post top luminaires.
- FARO, a line of high-performance outdoor indirect luminaires that utilize HessAmerica»s proprietary Advanced Secondary Reflector TechnologyTM for glare-free and uniform illumination.

Two of these products were honored with three awards at Light Fair International in New York earlier this year. The MILLENNIO won two awards, the «Best of Category for Exterior Luminaires, Landscape and Fountain Lighting,» and the «Design Excellence Award.» The «Design Excellence Award» is the top product design award presented at the event. In addition, the SERA won the «Best of Category for Exterior Luminaires, Site and Roadway Lighting.»
The company also showcased several existing product lines designed for architects and lighting designers, including CAMPO and CANTO G.
