Project Bloomington Central Park in Bloomington, Minnesota

Sierra columns are prominently placed along key walkways within the site, providing visual interest and functional illumination. In the main plaza, Sierra’s mirror the iconic feature of canted cedar poles, designed to mimic the natural pattern of tree trunks, an artistic recollection to the site’s agricultural role as an orchard in former times.
Strategically located between the Mall of America and the Minneapolis-St Paul airport, the 1.9 acre park is the centerpiece of the $57 million Central Station mixed use development, providing a “sense of space” and an outdoor gathering space for events, fairs, and concerts.
