Light Fair 2006 | New York

HessAmerica had another successful show at LightFair this year, exhibiting a number of exciting new products in an all-new booth format. The minimalist, understated booth design featured an open floor plan and color-changing wall that attracted a lot of attention and traffic.
Night Elements, one of the new products introduced at the show, won Best of Category in the Roadway, Sports, Floodlights, Outdoor Architectural & Site Lighting division in the New Product Showcase. Night Elements was selected from a group of 22 entries and generated a lot of interest on the show floor. This latest innovation is an architectural columnar lighting system offering a wide array of purpose specific lighting modules that can be configured from ground mounted beacons and bollards up to columns eighteen feet in height. Modules are available for area, accent, walkway and landscape illumination, as well as zone definition to address multiple lighting needs in a single luminaire form.
Other new products introduced included; FIORA, a highly styled pole mounted luminaire indirect luminaire reminiscent of an "outdoor chandelier"; Milano, an indirect pole mounted addition to the FARO line featuring a round facetted secondary reflector system; Novara SAL, an expansion of this venerable series offering tool-less access and sleek, simplified lines; and LEDIA tiles and strips with color-changing capability.
Georges Hess and HessAmerica personnel hosted a hospitality suite in the evenings after the show and had the opportunity to mix and mingle with representatives and their specifier guests in a relaxed atmosphere with new products on display.
